Disabled people make up 19% of the UK population, yet within the music industry, fans, professionals and artists with access requirements are under-represented in audiences, workplaces and on line-ups.

Attitude is Everything's 2019 research found that Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse artists frequently compromise their health and wellbeing to perform live and do not feel comfortable sharing their access needs or details of a health condition, due to fear of damaging a relationship and missing out on opportunities.

How can promoters, managers, talent developers and other professionals encourage artists to share what they need and remove barriers for them? This session will explore the steps that can be taken at all levels of the industry and answer any questions you might have about making your events and activities more accessible for artists, fans and colleagues.
