Ali is the lead singer from indie rock trio Idealistics from Cambridgeshire. Ali's partner, George, is the guitarist and her sister, Dom, is the drummer.
They developed an interest in making their voices heard and speaking up for matters that mean a lot to them, influenced by the attitude and music of Manic Street Preachers. They have released an EP and two singles which received backing from BBC 6 Music and Radio X. They are currently working on their debut album.
Ali campaigns for female and disabled musicians to attempt to make the music industry a more inclusive and accessible community. Ali has spoken to the BBC and NME among other media outlets to highlight the importance of making the music industry accessible to all.
