Amanda has over 30 years experience as a music publicist working at major labels and in the independent sector.
After heading the press team at Island Records, Amanda moved to leading independent RMP working alongside U2 - as tour publicist on two worlds tours - Blur, PJ Harvey, Smashing Pumpkins, Keith Richards and Moby before joining Sainted PR to develop the rock/indie side of their roster. She took a roster that included The Kills and Travis with her when she launched Freeman PR in 2007 and won Record Of The Day’s Best Individual Independent PR award that year.
She’s led campaigns for Roisin Murphy - Mercury Prize nominated in 2015 - Fatboy Slim, Hercules & Love Affair, Ash, Ladytron and Mykki Blanco and continues to work with an eclectic roster straddling dance, electronic, left field pop and singer songwriters alongside senior publicist Sam Hinde.
