MEMES formed on a Megbus in Spring 2019. Debut single ‘Blah Blah Blah’ earned the band a Steve Lamacq live session on BBC 6 Music and regular radio airplay, leading to Fierce Panda Records releasing another single and debut EP ‘MEMES’ in 2020.

Throughout 2020 and 2021 the band showcased online at SXSW, The Great Escape, c/o pop and Wide Days, played shows all across the UK and Europe and festivals including Rotterdam's Left of the Dial.

Current single 'Heavy Night' produced by Darwin Deez has earned the band 6 Music support from Steve Lamacq, Amy Lame and Craig Charles, with even more new music just around the corner.
