Seminar Programme & Speaker Announced
We are pleased to announce the latest additions to the Wide Days conference programme, which take place at Edinburgh’s Teviot Row House on April 9-10.
Leading figures from the UK, will be joined by speakers from the German industry providing an insight on touring and releasing in Germany.
This year’s event will see the first day focus on topics relating to the live industry, with confirmed panels including: Planning A Tour, Digital Services for Promoting Events, and a session looking at the next generation of apps and technologies.
Day two will cover topics relating to rights-holders [eg labels, artists, musicians, managers]. Managing A Release will look at how managers are taking on the role of record labels, while a reworked version of the popular feedback session A&R You Brave Enough? will return. Meet The Gatekeepers will see key opinion-formers describe how they choose which acts to support.
This year’s Wide Days also includes presentations on preparing for a digital release, PPL, stage-lighting and a case study of leading German record label, Audiolith.
