Stuart Ramage and Roan Ballantine make up the multi-instrumental duo that is VanIves, whose debut EP, Let The Current In was released on 12” via German label Vielen Dank Records. Hailing from a small town in south west Scotland, the duo take inspiration from their joint childhood experiences, as well as their wide ranging individual musical tastes, joining together to create a smart mix of tender analogue sounds with forward facing digital production. Their commitment to all things creative sees an added emphasis on the visual arts, with each show being an entire experience, rather than your average gig.
