Senior music industry executive with 30 years marketing, commercial, strategic and operational experience, gained through working at majors, independents and startups, including PolyGram/Universal, BMG, Kobalt/AWAL, Blokur, Audio Network, AFEM and now CEO at Association for Electronic Music.

In 2011 founded a music and marketing consultancy Voicebox Ltd working with charities, non-profits and SMEs, gaining valuable insight into how working cultures can differ outside media and entertainment.

Passionate campaigner and advocate for diversity equity and inclusion in all its forms, social justice, environmental sustainability and tackling the mental health pandemic.

Co-founder of dance and electronic music label services/publisher #remarqabl to find, support and represent the marginalized/under-represented new talent - female producers / songwriters, POC, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent creatives

Trustee of Help Musician’s charity and also recently announced as Chair of Trustees Board for Music Minds Matter, Help Musician’s subsidiary charity focussing on supporting mental health needs across all areas of the UK music industry.

In January 2022 Silvia received a diagnosis for ADHD, a condition that they will have had since childhood and has affected their life and career, both with its challenges and its superpowers. They are committed to helping educate the music industry about neurodiverse conditions and how to work with neurodiverse talent across the breadth of our sector, so that the talent can thrive and companies can maximise the rich talent and diversity of thought that we bring.

Advisory Board member of Moving the Needle (UK), an educational platform whose mission is to help support women in the UK music industry through their career, highlighting the huge diversity of roles available to women in our industry and helping them navigate the challenges of rising to senior leadership and boardroom level.
