Open House Festival
Sarah is currently working as Festival Coordinator for Open House Festival, Northern Ireland, whose main output is a month-long music & arts festival in Bangor alongside being a year-round promoter in Belfast. She is responsible for programming, box office, budgets, front of house management, volunteers and last year, the co-ordination of 140 events in 46 venues over the course of the festival month. The Festival prides itself on putting unique shows in venues not usually used for music & arts events.
Sarah qualified with a degree in Law & Accounting but an internship with The Richter Collective in Dublin after university cemented her desire to work in music. She worked with music publishers BMG Music Management for two years before going back and completing a MA in Festive Arts in the University of Limerick which took her to Open House Festival whose 2018 programme includes Public Image Ltd., John Grant, Lisa Hannigan and The Waterboys.
