Russell Stewart’s music is an evocative and intricately written brand of modern soul, with electronic flourish and an alternative twist. 

Russell released his long-awaited debut EP ‘Into View’ on 18th November 2022, produced by Stuart Ramage & Roan Ballantine of the band Vanives. This release explores the sonic and emotional range of this “alt-soul savant” (Wonderland Magazine), with all four tracks making it on to Spotify’s New Music Friday UK and second single ‘Inward’ named track of the week on BBC Introducing Scotland by Phoebe Inglis-Holmes & Shereen Cutkelvin.
