New Format Hailed a Success
Thanks to everyone who attended Wide Days last week - thanks to you we enjoyed a 15% rise in delegate registrations on 2014, up from 170 to 201. This year’s event placed a greater emphasis on industry analysis and networking opportunities, as well as moving from a midweek slot to Friday and Saturday.
New Speakers and Final Showcase Acts Announced
We have added festival organisers, an X Factor talent consultant and a self-releasing musician to the Wide Days conference programme, which takes place at Edinburgh's Pleasance on Friday 10 April. Electronic artist Fiona Soe Paing and Glasgow bandCatholic Action have also been confirmed for the final two showcase slots.

Berlin Duo Added to Showcase Line-Up
We are pleased to announce the addition of Berlin techno duo Schwefelgelb to our showcase line up. The band will play Edinburgh’s Electric Circus on April 10, on the second evening of the event.
Their inclusion forms part of Wide Days’ partnership with the German Consulate General, which also includes several seminars focusing on Germany’s music industry as part of the daytime programme at Teviot Row House.
