Wide Days Returns 30th April - 1 May 2026

Scotland’s Music Convention returns for its 16th edition, from 30th April - 1 May 2026. Taking place in Edinburgh, the event will present a curated line-up of artist showcases, a conference programme and host of networking activities.

A curated line-up of Scottish artists will be selected to showcase via an open application process, while guest international festivals will present artists from their respective countries/regions.

The conference programme will take place on Thursday 30 April at The Pleasance, Edinburgh, followed by an evening multi-venue showcase across Edinburgh’s Cowgate, including the four acts on the 2026 Wide Days Talent Development Programme. 

Friday 1 May will be dedicated to networking and hospitality, with pro delegates taking part in a networking lunch, guided tours and a whisky tasting - while artists are treated to an exclusive brunch allowing them to connect with each other. The final night of showcases will see 3-4 city-centre venues host a compact multi-venue showcase programme open to the public.
