About The Artists:

Goodnight Louisa

Louise McCraw, known musically as Goodnight Louisa is a Scottish musician, songwriter and producer. Her music and production has been praised for its "cinematic, raw and uncompromising" qualities.

Her self-produced debut album “Human Danger” which was written in a converted warehouse in Þingeyri, a small village in the Westfjords of Iceland and was released in 2022, receiving great acclaim from Clash Magazine, and BBC Introducing Scotland. Since relocating to Glasgow in 2022, McCraw has been finishing a new record. For fans of Hot Chip, The Knife and early Madonna.

Her Picture

Dripping in both sentiment and cinematic fury, Glasgow risers Her Picture are taking Scotland by storm, immersing listeners in their vast sonic landscape.

Owing their formation to a free music education programme, accessibility in the arts has become a core principle in their craft, with their 2023 debut EP, ‘Don’t Try to Comfort Me’, tackling issues such as classism in the expressive arts. This stance was met with a rapturous reception, as the 4-track body of work earned the band their Radio 1 debut, ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Introducing Scotland, a place on the shows ‘Ones to Watch 2023’ list and an addition to the Spotify editorial playlist, Scotify.

The 3-piece have become renowned for their storming lives shows, having shared the stage with the likes of Swim School and Genn, featuring on the festival lineups for Tenement Trail, Stag and Dagger, Houseguest and King Tut’s New Year’s Revolution, and having a string of sell out headlines under their belt. The band also made their London live debut in partnership with Sofar Sounds.

Quiet Houses

Quiet Houses are an Edinburgh based indie-folk duo made up of Jamie Stewart and Hannah Elliott. In December 2021 the duo released their debut EP ‘Big Town’ supported by singles ‘B-List’ (BBC Radio Scotland track of the week), ‘Cold Water Swimming’ (featured in Spotify’s ‘The Most Beautiful Songs In The World’) and 'Ocean Avenue'. The EP was released independently alongside sold out launch parties at Sneaky Pete’s (Edinburgh) and Gullivers NQ (Manchester).

SLIX

Winners of the SAMA ‘Best Live Act’ Award 2024 and hailing from Gourock, on Scotland’s west coast, SLIX have developed into a well-honed, energetic live act since their 2022 alternative indie debut ep, Jingle Jangle. At home they have built a solid foundation thanks to their compelling live shows, performing at TRNSMT in 2023 and selling out Glasgow’s 600-capacity St Luke’s venue in March 2023.

They are also one of the only acts to have been booked two years running to showcase at Wide Days. This year they have also begun making a strong impact further afield with shows at Mad Cool Festival (Madrid), The Great Escape (Brighton), Future Echoes (Sweden), Twisterella Festival and Wise Festival (Berlin) and have just returned from their first full UK Tour supporting the LaFontaines.
