WD24: Final Showcase Line-up
With Wide Days only a few weeks away, we’re excited to share our full 2024 showcase line up, which features three nights of emerging Scottish talent as well as a selection of acts programmed by guest festivals M For Montreal and FOCUS Wales.
Taking place on 1-2-3 May across three venues in Edinburgh’s old-town, and supported by PPL Giving, the line-up boasts a cross-section of genres and styles, ranging from alternative rock, indie and singer-songwriter to spiritual jazz, hip-hop and r&b
The opening night is presented in partnership with Music Venue Trust and showcases Grayling, Kohla, Leif Coffield and The Joshua Hotel, who were selected from 140 acts by 30 international and domestic industry professionals to take part in a 12 month mentoring programme supported by PRS Foundation.
On Thursday 2 and Friday 3 May, a record 13 Scottish acts will showcase across three city-centre venues under the New From Scotland banner, presented in partnership with Ticketmaster New Music.
The lineup features Edy Forey, Eyve, Indoor Foxes, Kai Reesu, Kryptik, Lloyd’s House, Martha May and the Mondays, Neev, Pearling, Samuel Nicholson, Slix, Supermann on da Beat and Zoe Graham.
This will be augmented by a showcase of four Quebec-based acts, ALIAS, DVTR, Emilie Kahn and Soran presented by Canadian festival M For Montreal on Thursday evening. On Friday, international showcase festival FOCUS Wales will present sets form Adjua and CHROMA.
