Conference
We're pleased to announce the details of our 2020 virtual edition of Wide Days, which takes place from 23-25 July. Expect a packed schedule of panels, interviews, live performances, sector meetings, social activities and a range of networking opportunities.
Thursday & Friday will feature the conference and showcases, with the Saturday beginning with a virtual music tour, followed by the Wide Whisky Club and a Festival Takeover, with Focus Wales and the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, each programming a selection of acts on the final evening (line up TBA).
Over 50 speakers will be joined by representatives from industry trade organisations. Sessions exploring how different sectors of the music industry are responding have been added, highlighting novel approaches and looking at innovative key steps being taken to survive.
We have also teamed up with our friends at IQ Magazine and Music Ally to present special editions of their weekly broadcasts, and Wide Days favourites CMU will host two extended sessions covering data and music videos. Full details of the programme can be found below.
