Natalie Judge is the General Manager for Matador Records Ltd, a position she has held for over ten years. Matador is one of the five independent labels that form part of the Beggars Group, who in addition to Matador, also represent 4AD, XL, Rough Trade, and Young Turks under its umbrella. Matador is a globally operating label, with its primary office based in New York, focussing on promoting to the North America market. The London office concentrates on the rest of the globe – namely the UK and Europe, Australia and Japan.
Natalie is responsible for the successful planning, strategy, marketing and promotion of Matador's artists and their releases. Her role involves budgeting, timeline planning, coordinating departments and managing teams to deliver the best campaigns possible.
Selected artists Natalie has worked with include Queens of the Stone Age, Cat Power, Savages, Kurt Vile, Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth, Belle & Sebastian, Perfume Genius, Spoon, Car Seat Headrest, Julien Baker and many more.
