Marie Hummer

Marie Hummer was born in Vienna in 1998. In 2021, she founded the music label RAIN, expanding its activities in 2022 to include management services. At the same time, she studied European Ethnology as well as Cultural and Social Anthropology at the University of Vienna, where she wrote her master’s thesis on “Self-empowerment mechanisms among migrant rappers.” Since 2026, Marie Hummer has been a member of the advisory board of the Austrian collecting society LSG and a board member of the indie label association VTMÖ.
