Mandi Freeman is Series Producer of BBC Scotland’s multi-platform live performance show, The Quay Sessions. Since its inception in 2015, close to 300 artists and bands have taken to the stage at Pacific Quay in Glasgow. Guests have included Snow Patrol, The Charlatans and Sophie Ellis-Bextor alongside homegrown talent such as Lewis Capaldi, The Twilight Sad and Be Charlotte.  Recorded and filmed weekly in front of an intimate audience, the show has a presence on radio, online and TV.

Mandi has previously produced BBC Radio 1’s first devolved music programme, The Session in Scotland, Radio 1’s Rock Show and Radio Scotland’s home of alternative music, Beat Patrol.  She has produced countless sessions and live events for national and network radio at venues and festivals around Scotland.

During this period, she is continuing to produce The Quay Sessions, incorporating at-home sessions and remote interviews with archive sessions.
