LUCY BAMPTON
CREATIVE PROGRAMME MANAGER - HELP MUSICIANS UK
Lucy Bampton is the Creative Programme Manager at Help Musicians UK, which, as the leading independent charity for musicians offers a range of tailored support for professional musicians of all genres, throughout their careers – in times of crisis but also importantly, in times of opportunity. HMUK’s Creative Programme has a strong focus on Learning and Professional Development for emerging and established musicians; providing funding directly to musicians through a range of opportunities, as well as working in partnership with a diverse range music organisations across the UK to deliver their own Talent Development programmes. With over a decade’s experience as an arts funder (including six years at Arts Council England) and as a project manager across cultural education, artistic development and audience engagement, Lucy is passionate about enabling musicians of all ages to reach their full potential. Outside of the day job, she can be found face painting at UK music festivals, basket-making, and squeezing in as many live gigs and cultural activities as possible.
