Louise Mason is a radio presenter and producer known for her impeccable music taste and warm Northern humour. She has worked in production at BBC Radio 1, 1xtra, BBC Radio 2, and BBC Radio 6 Music, alongside presenters including Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens, and Annie Mac.

In 2018, Louise gained invaluable experience in Australia, working as a producer for Triple J and Double J in Melbourne. It was here that she discovered her newfound love for radio presenting, and developed a new music radio show, showcasing the best in Australian and British talent for Triple R, a project that she is continuing in the UK.

In 2019, Louise said farewell to suncream and headed back to the colder climates of Manchester and Scotland, where she has further honed her radio skills, working for BBC Radio 6 Music in Salford with Chris Hawkins, Mary Anne Hobbs, and Marc Riley, as well as her friendly flair and presenting style landing her reporting spots with BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio Scotland and Double J from SXSW in Austin, Texas.

In a past life, Louise trained at one of the world’s biggest law firms, practising as an employment solicitor in London. Her passion, drive and determination have since been transferred to her desire to champion new music and connect with audiences.
