Wide Days and Live Trust are pleased to offer a limited number of bursaries to UK-based booking agents and grassroots venue bookers, for our Made In Scotland Gigs showcase in partnership with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe society.

The offer includes two nights accommodation (16-18 August), £150 towards travel (rail or bus), a walking tour and whisky + exotic soft drink tastings. 

Taking place on 17 August, at Bannerman's, Sneaky Pete's and La Belle Angele,  the multi-genre line-up is an opportunity to get a snapshot of emerging local acts garnering international attention. 

Awardees will also have the chance to connect with local industry and a small delegation of international bookers.

The line-up comprises Azamiah, Bikini Body, Cathal Murphy, Dara Dubh, Fright Years, Haiver, Helicon and Tom Campbell Trio, biogs and playlist are available at here.

Our ask:

• You listen to the playlist and tell us at least one act you are seriously interested in working with. 

• You take part in a Zoom meeting with other participants and artists from 18.00-19.00hrs BST on Tuesday 11 August. 

• You arrive in central Edinburgh before 13.00hrs on Sunday 16 August 2026.

• You take part in the full event programme on Sunday 16 afternoon (tour and dinner)

• You take part in the full daytime programme on Monday 17 August 2026 (morning artist presentations and 1-2-1 meeting, lunch, whisky/exotic soft-drink tastings).

• You attend the evening showcases on Monday 17 August
