Ewan is an international touring guitarist and bass player, recording artist, Bass tutor at The Academy of Music and Sound, artist manager, composer, and regular performer at the UK’s award winning venue The Jazz Bar. He has been passionate about music from an early age and his ambition was always to master the skills necessary to perform music at the highest level achievable (a never-ending work in progress). In doing so he has been compelled to inspire others musically and to impart that knowledge through teaching which he does across the schools and colleges of Edinburgh. As a performer, Ewan is currently the bass player for Siobhan Wilson, Nicole Smit, The Blueswater and a host of other bands and artists. Most notable of these is the latest ‘pandemic response’ project, StreamCycle - a brand new platform live-streaming full band gigs.
