Dietmar Schwenger was born in Bochum 1969. He studied German literature and philosophy and worked as a musician. Early on he wrote for several magazines in Bochum and in 1999 he moved to Munich where he started working as an editor for the German music industry magazine MusikWoche. The weekly B2B-publication covers the complete range of the current music industry – recorded music, publishing and live entertainment. Dietmar Schwenger writes a lot about the live scene and covers international business events. Among other things he also specializes in media and music-dvds.
