Chris Wemyss

Chris is a lifelong live music fan, ever since he managed to get himself signed into a touring rock show on the then-thriving university circuit, back in the mists of time.

Around 20 years ago, after becoming increasingly disillusioned with ever-larger stadium shows, he began promoting small community events in his spare time, working alongside a team of volunteers. That team went on to run the successful Stowed Out Festival for seven years.

Chris later stepped away to take up the role of Venue Manager at the newly opened community venue, Mac Arts, recently voted the best small venue in Scotland.
