BPI represents the UK’s recorded music industry. As a trade body, they champion the interests of our membership which includes more than 300 independent music companies and the UK’s major record labels. Together, BPI’s members account for 85% of all music sold in the UK. We hold free training courses for our membership as well as regular meetings with guest speakers from across the music industry.

They hold regular overseas Trade Missions and support members attending a range of international and domestic music Trade Fairs. BPI also organises the BRIT Awards show and the Classic BRIT Awards show.
