WD24: First artists and conference sessions announced!

We're pleased to announce details of the first conference sessions, speakers and artists for Wide Days 2024! 

The convention takes place on 1-2-3 May in Edinburgh, with its distinctive mix of conference sessions, unique range of networking activities and a multi-genre showcase. This year marks the 15th edition of the award-winning international music convention, which first took place in the basement of a nightclub in 2010. 

Delegate passes are available at their current rate until Sat 9 March, so get yours now before priced rise to the next tier.

Wide Days conference programme brings together the full spectrum of music professionals, from leading international industry figures, to emerging artists, fledgling companies and supporting organisations.

A round table, exploring the creative opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence and other tech, and how to address the challenges.

💰 PPL: Get Played, Get Paid!
Whether it’s money from radio play, television, or your music being played in public, PPL will be discussing how revenue flows back through to the performer and rightsholder or record label.

📻 Local Heroes: EHFM
Local Heroes celebrates those providing a platform for domestic talent and this year features Edinburgh radio station EHFM.

🌊 Sync Or Swim
A rare opportunity for music makers and rights holders to submit a composition for review by a panel of music supervisors and sync agents.

🎧 A&R You Brave Enough?
A panel of music media and industry professionals provides feedback on submitted tracks.

🤝 Meet The EU CEOs
The heads of international music industry member organisations outline their respective visions for the future.

💭 Attitude Is Everything: Access In Music
Our Attitude Is Everything strand highlights initiatives and action which can make the music industry more accommodating for music professionals, artists and audiences with disabilities.
