Propose a speaker or programme idea

Wide Days prides itself on creating a lively programme, best described as the conference equivalent of a magazine. We are always interested in unusual ideas and when it comes to covering more common areas of the music industry, we like to look for fresh angles.

Although we have very limited space in the programme, we are happy to hear from potential speakers. Many industry figures got their first experience of talking at our convention, and we can provide advice for anyone not used to public speaking.

Wide Days is run by a Community Interest Company (not-for-profit) with any revenue used to pay the delivery team, the showcase artists and ensure that we offer the best value event. If you work for a company or organisation which would like to promote a product or service, we ask you to buy a pass and consider sponsoring a slot (these are limited to three).

Speakers are offered a platinum pass, which includes meals, tours and a whisky tasting and in some cases (eg freelancers), we can provide a contribution towards travel or accommodation.

If you have bought a pass and are invited to speak at the Wide Days, you have the option of being reimbursed or paying the accreditation forward to someone on our bursary programme.

This form comes in four sections and we estimate that it will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
