Wide Days 2023 Talent Development Programme and Showcase Festival Applications

The Wide Days 2023 showcase programme is expanding, creating more opportunities than ever before for artists, DJs and composers based in Scotland to perform to international music industry delegates and new music fans!

Emerging acts of any genre based in Scotland are invited to apply to showcase on the Friday night of Wide Days, and applications are also open for our year-round International Talent Development Programme, offering four acts/creators a package of support and development, as well as a showcase on the opening night of the convention.

TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME:

Four acts will be selected by a panel of international industry and media to participate in a year-round package of mentoring, support and workshops to accelerate their international careers, plus a showcase slot on the Thursday night of Wide Days. 

Who is it for?
Artists or music creators developing a profile in Scotland and looking for support to become fully export-ready. You should be attracting audiences and media support, looking to build a team and getting some interest to take your first-steps outside Scotland.

FRIDAY SHOWCASES:

Ten emerging acts will be selected to perform as part of a multi-venue showcase programme on the Friday night of Wide Days, open to industry delegates and the public. Artist will have access to the full conference programme and a pre-event briefing.

Who is it for?
Artists or music creators who have built up steam in Scotland, and are now building teams and beginning to develop a profile/fanbase across other parts of the UK and/or beyond. You should be picking up national press, airplay, playlists, festival bookings, and showcases.
