Creative Carbon Scotland
Gemma is a producer with Creative Carbon Scotland, working across a range of projects to support and explore creative responses to the issues of climate change and sustainable futures. She is currently the co-investigator and community partner on a one year AHRC research project Fields of Green which seeks to support a network of Scottish music festival and their associated communities to share practices and skills around environmental sustainability.
She has managed and produced a range of cross disciplinary projects including an annual artist residency on the Isle of Mull as well as educational visual arts projects. Between 2013 and 2015 she was a member of a two year European arts and sustainability network – the Green Art Lab Alliance. She is also programmer of monthly artist workshops and talks in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and most recently coordinator of series of commissions and events addressing the Paris Climate Summit in December 2015.
