The Joshua Hotel

The Joshua Hotel are an electronic indie act fronted by multi-instrumentalist producer, Joshua Mackenzie.

In late summer 2021 they released 7 track debut EP ‘Closet Romantic’, an eclectic mix of heartfelt songs with a sonic backdrop inspired by electronic and new wave artists. The lead single ‘I Don't Want To Go’ was chosen as Janice Forsyth’s BBC Radio Scotland ‘Single of The Week’ and was championed by publications such as The Scotsman, The Inverness Courier and Tenement TV. The band finished the year with standalone single ‘Somebody New’, which broadened their horizons, being picked up by Radio-X’s John Kennedy as his ‘Hot One’ on the X-posure show, as well as earning a feature as ‘Artist of the Week’ in Scotland on Sunday.
