Pearling

Born and based in Glasgow, Scotland, Pearling is an independent electronic music producer, performer and visual artist making heavenly waves with her delicate, otherworldly ethereal-pop sound. Pearling has found her stride bursting through the Scottish electronic music scene, performing at everything from local supports, daytime festivals to late night raves and has been booked to play shows throughout the UK over the coming year.

With her first EP released in May 2023, 'Celestia, Deep Sea Diver’, continued to evoke Pearling’s celestial spirit and love for her Scottish heritage with electronic breakbeat tracks dreaming about folklore and unlocking dreamlike childhood memories. With this release saw Pearling achieve placement on three Spotify editorial playlists, being nominated for The SAY Award, ‘Sound of Young Scotland’ award and performing at venues such as SWG3 and beyond.

Pearling’s debut EP reached well over 100k streams in the space of 6 months with no label, manager or PR due to her strong online fanbase. In 2024, Pearling has been booked to play festivals and support shows in Bristol, London and Berlin. Set to release another entirely self produced mixtape with music videos all filmed independently, the sky really is the limit for Pearling.
