SENIOR MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE - DF CONCERTS
Susan has been working in the music industry for ten years now, with almost two years in her current role of Senior Marketing and Communications Executive at DF Concerts & Events. Having studied Music Business and Sound Production, Susan moved to Aberdeen to hone her skills with Aberdeen International Youth Festival as Social Media and Communications Executive and then on to Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre as PR & Marketing Executive, before moving back home to Glasgow to start working with DF Concerts & Events.
In her role at DF Concerts & Events, Susan leads the PR and comms of almost 1000 gigs, three festivals, and one venue per year across four different brands (Gigs in Scotland, King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, TRNSMT, and Summer Sessions). Susan is the marketing lead for around 150 gigs per year for a variety of 50-13,000 capacity shows in various venues all over Scotland, and has previously headed up PR and comms for the opening of the V&A Dundee 3D Festival.
Susan is an integral part of the DF Concerts & Events team and manages all of the company’s PR and creative agencies whilst being a master ‘plate-spinner’ who thrives on juggling many projects at the one time. Her enthusiasm and energy keeps the wider DF Concerts & Events team going after long days onsite during very busy summer festivals.
